Project: Cricklade Avenue, Streatham

Description: The project comprised of the addition of a simple full width linear volume to the rear of the house, providing a family ‘garden room’ adjacent to a home office, separated by a full height sliding door. A rooflight located against the rear wall of the original property brings natural light into the deepest part of the plan, while a full height, full width glazed screen opens up the interior to views of the garden. The previously under used dining room has been reconfigured to provide a generous kitchen, while additional utility and ‘visitable’ cloakroom facilities have also been included. The project has been executed in ‘London stock’ brickwork, in harmony with the host property.
